The cybersecurity field offers lucrative opportunities in both the private and government sectors, giving cybersecurity professionals a wide range of specializations and career trajectories to select. Those working in the government cybersecurity sectors can also earn security clearances to increase their salaries. With a zero percent unemployment rate, high earning potential, and unique work experiences, cybersecurity careers can be fulfilling.

The Demand for Cyber Talent

In Jacksonville, and across the United States, demand for cybersecurity professionals is growing rapidly. According to Glassdoor, the average entry-level Cyber Analyst salary in Jacksonville is $76,750. Some senior positions can earn upwards of $380,000 annually or more.
